Living In Danforth
This neighbourhood is home to the famous Taste of The Danforth Festival where the street shuts down for two days, and you can find live music, games and food vendors everywhere.
The area was one of the major settlement areas of Greek immigrants to Toronto after World War I, but thats not to say that there aren’t many other cultures who have made this neighbourhood their home as well.
Most of the commercial area is concentrated around Bloor Street where, in the summertime, you will find many outdoor patios, flowers outside for sale from local vendors and markets offering fresh produce. There are numerous parks, trails, and public pools to keep everyone busy on the weekends.
